Maldives' leading Kuoni's top selling destinations over a decade


For the last decade the Maldives has continued to hold the position of the leading destination for Kuoni. The UK based travel company Kuoni, has been coordinating holidays to the Maldives for over 20 years now. Kuoni was established in 1906.

The quality, style and service in the Maldives is market-leading so for honeymoons and special holidays there is nothing else like it.
According to a TTG DIGITAL article posted today, Maldives leading holiday getaway for kuoni was the first among the top three destinations having the highest number of sales for Kuoni. Thailand came in second place, while UAE was included in the top three for the first time by winning the third place.

The recent sales figures of Kuoni are for the period of January. According to Kuoni Managing Director, Derek Jones “This has been one of the busiest January periods I can remember”.

Derek Jones reiterated the fact that Maldives leading holiday destination for Kuoni by saying “The Maldives has been our biggest selling destination for the past decade and we’ve continued to grow our presence in these Indian Ocean islands, with more resorts which are only bookable through Kuoni in the UK.”

Kuoni website describes the reasons for Maldives leading choice of travelers due to “”Evoking images of white sands, swaying palm trees and crystal blue waters, this is the quintessential picture-perfect holiday – with an added sprinkling of something special. The Maldives has remained a favorite destination for UK holidaymakers. Visitors from UK contribute a healthy amount to Maldivian Tourism industry annually.

For an entire decade the Maldives has been able to remain at the top spot due to the unique and quality services offered by the hotels and resorts of the country. Derek Jones agrees with this fact by saying “The quality, style and service in the Maldives is market-leading so for honeymoons and special holidays there is nothing else like it.”
