When to Travel
Ayada Maldives experiences more than one monsoon season. December to March comes from the northeast and the other monsoon season is southwest and occurs from May to November. Strong winds and rain are likely to occur during this time.
Marine life on the reef is more visible on the west side of any atoll from May to November and on the east side of any atoll from December through April. Divers can enjoy the islands all year long, as anytime is the best time to dive. Diving will give you access to some of the most spectacular underwater scenery and marine life on earth.
From the beginning to the middle of the year (February through April) the island is abuzz with guests because it is nice and warm. Another one of the busiest time is Christmas and New Year, as well as Easter and one week in August, during the Italian holiday season. During peak seasons, peak rates can apply.
May through November has a more frequent occurrence of humid, cloudy and even stormy weather. Off-season rates can apply, except in August.
