Visit Maldives Year logo unveiled on TMA aircrafts

Visit Maldives year (VMY) logo has been unveiled on TMA aircrafts today at a colourful ceremony held at the Ibrahim Nasir International International Airport. The logo was unveiled by the chief guest of the ceremony Mr. Abdulla Ziyath, Managing Director of MMPRC. 2016 was declared as the Visit Maldives Year by H.E. President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom at the inauguration ceremony of the UNWTO Ministerial Conference on 3rd June. One of the important targets of the destination marketing campaign, VMY 2016 is to increase tourist arrivals to 1.5 million in 2016 together with a significant increase in tourism receipts through aggressive promotions of the destination worldwide.

TMA serves majority of the tourists visiting the Maldives carrying them to their ultimate holiday destination. VMY logo on the aircraft will ensure the effective communication of the VMY message to the holiday makers aspiring them to visit the sunny side of life in 2016.
