Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is in a tropical zone. February through April are the hottest months of the year, and they are also very busy. The time around Christmas and New Year are one of the busiest times of year, as well as Easter and one week in August, during the Italian holiday season.
There are two monsoon seasons. From December to March comes from the northeast. The other monsoon season is southwest and occurs from May to November. It is characterized by strong winds and rain.
May through November is characterized by a higher occurrence of humid, cloudy and eve stormy weather. Off-season rates can apply, except in August.
The best time to go diving is pretty much year round, though marine life on the reef is more visible on the west side of any atoll from May to November and on the east side of any atoll from December through April.
