Amari Maldives Havodda today welcomed their first guests. The resort located on the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, can be reached by a 55-minute plane journey from Male International Airport, followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride.
Guests will be able to choose either beach or overwater villas, including pool villa options, while facilities at the resort include a spa with six treatment pavilions, a hair and nail salon, an outdoor pool with children’s pool area, fitness centre, tennis court, beach volleyball court, and dive and watersports centres.
Guests can also choose to take part in island-hopping, snorkelling, sailing or night fishing excursions.
And in terms of F&B, Amari Havodda Maldives will feature an all-day dining restaurant with open kitchens, a Japanese barbecue restaurant, pizza outlet and two bars – one on the beach and one that overlooks the pool.
Amari, which is the main upscale brand of the Onyx Hospitality Group, now operates a portfolio of hotels and resorts in Thailand, Qatar and Bangladesh.
