Swarna Indian fine dining restaurant opens at Jumeirah Vittaveli

Jumeirah Vittaveli has officially opened its new signature fine dining restaurant Swarna offering inspired Indian cuisine.

The menu offers guests a selection of set menus with creative interpretations of traditional Indian recipes. On alternating days, guests may dine from authentic thalis(platters), designed for fans of traditional Indian cuisine.

Graham Kiy, General Manager of Jumeirah Vittavelisaid: “We are thrilled with the addition of this impressive restaurant to our culinary offerings. When you approach the massive wooden entrance gates flanked by intricate elephant statues and reflecting the glow of the burning fire urns set next to it, you can’t help but feel like you’re about to enter the realm of ancient Indian rulers - and cuisine and service fit for royalty is exactly what you will experience at Swarna.“

The restaurant comprises three open-air dining cabanas, one Chef’s table and a swing for after-dinner relaxation. All are located in the Maharaja style garden venue.

Swarna means ‘gold’ in Sanskrit, reflecting royalty, opulence and the rich heritage of Indian cuisine. The gold standard at Jumeirah Vittaveli, this restaurant is sure to delight guests with creative flavours, complemented by an impressive arrangement of dishes, including crockery that was specifically chosen to enhance the visual presentation.
