Pixie Geldof, the daughter of legendary singer Bob Geldof has revealed the best thing she had ever done and it involves Maldives.

Pixie Geldof revealed the best thing she ever did in an interview given to the Telegraph . In reply to the question “Your most adventurous travel experience?” Pixie replied saying “Swimming with whale sharks in the Maldives. They’re safe and spectacular. It was the best thing I’d ever done.”

The Maldives offers unrivaled opportunities for visitors to explore the magnificent beasts called Whale Sharks. In various parts of the country throughout the year Whale Sharks can be sighted. Special areas have been reserved and declared as protected areas to preserve the Whale Shark population.

In addition to swimming with the Whale Sharks Pixie Geldof said “We also swam with turtles. Getting to the destination for the swim was an adventure in itself – the last leg was by seaplane and we landed on a jetty next to the hotel – it felt like a very swanky way to travel.”
